    I started this company for many reasons.... The most important being the desire to provide people with a place to find beautiful and unique gifts online.

    One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is to go poking through small antique and gift stores. They always seem to  have the neatest gifts and the friendliest people working for them. Special requests are the norm, not the exception. Customer service is what they are all about!

    Unfortunately, as time passes, I noticed that there seems to be less and less time for such outings. It is much easier/quicker to run down to the local mall and hit the usual department stores. But at the end of the day, I always leave the mall feeling like I have either been attacked by over aggressive sales people or completely ignored. Either way, I have accomplished nothing, with the exception of wasting my time.

    Because of the time crunch that we all seem to be suffering from, I thought it would be great to bring the atmosphere of those pokey little shops to the web. This site is certainly not meant to replace those special little shops, merely to help those of us who can't seem to get to them.
