| Personal Care: Go back to Personal Care index Crystals and Rocks: I first learned about the "healing power" that crystals and rocks have when I was going through a VERY stressful period and received a crystal as a gift from a close friend . I was somewhat skeptical of their "powers" (my friend is a little bit off the beaten path), but decided to humor her and follow her directions for "use" of my crystal. I have to admit, my attitude has completely changed since that first day.... There are many people that believe that crystals can cure all sorts of physical and mental ailments if used properly. I am not sure that I believe that they are some type of cure-all, but I will fully admit that my collection of crystals (as well as my use of them) has grown substantially over the past few years. (I have read many different helpful/useful articles on how to use them and would be very happy to point you to some of the different sites that I have found particularly useful)
